Well guys I hope we all survive from this SS "BS". The reason I bought a Honda was for their reliability. Luckily I have a second car so for the winter the lude will be hibernating. And ever since I read Gerhard info I have beeen changing the ATF every 4-5 thousand miles. Good luck guys. I just hope the manual swap parts are more easy to get as time go by.

might sound crazy:

How about some of us post some pics of our Trans Fluid online.. and state the miles since it was last changed?

And then...maybe state your problems your experienceing....

and if you definetly noticed a change in performance with the fluid change.

I think having to change the Trans fluid every 4000 miles like some of you are considered doing is a little extreme and expensive.

Btw...you should all FAX Honda...and complain...
every little complaint helps...
Make sure you mention that you want to know why 97~99 preludes are not included with the 00~01

1998 Base 150k miles. Mine was doing the same thing a few weeks ago. Last week it started whining and yesterday I had it checked out. Time to get a new transmission.
