Hey, I've seen many lip kits that are factory and i was wondering if anyone had pics of original lip kits. I have a SH and the side skirts look like base models and the rear is a SH for sure. there is no front lip. I wanted to buy a front lip but I dont want to get the wrong one. I want the one off of a SH. Post some pics and lets see how many different ones are out there, if any.

The SH doesn't come with a lip. The sides and rear are the same as the base just painted to match the car.

cool... What yr.model came with a front lip? I see them around town...older ladies etc driving them so i figure they came from the factory?

There is no year or model that came with the lip kit, like spin_r_g said. It was an optional accessory you could purchase from the dealer. And no American Prelude came with just a front lip, only the Type S in Japan had just a front lip. American Preludes either have black skirts (Base model), painted skirts (Type SH), or full-body lip kit (optional factory accessory).

^Are you saying that you couldn't order just a front lip alone on a prelude when new?

If so, I doubt that highly. They want money, if you are willing to give them money for such a thing, they'd take it.
