In a nutshell...

On the street, they're exactly the same.

On the track, the SH uses a system called ATTS to counteract understeer.

See the tag for ATTS in the 5th gen forum to learn more.

sh just stands for "Super Handling" which is acheived via ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System). Sends more torque to the wheel that needs it in a sharp turn. Cool feature. However, if you want to get up into high performance, you WILL run into complications. There is absolutely no power difference in the motor, although the SH may put slightly less to the wheels because of the ATTS device. Also the SH is a little bit heavier because of this additional hardware.

It's more than just ATTS that counteracts understeer. There are many other things such as springs and shocks that are changed but one thing I do know is different power wise are the cams on the SH. The SH model uses a very similar cam as the base model but there is slightly more lift on the high cam.

If you're going to keep it somewhat stock, just suspension mods, then the SH will be great. If you're an engine mod guy stay the away, the SH uses a different engine block and transmission.
