Why? You probably won't be any faster.

I bet if I installed an H22 in a Gremlin, I would be the only one to do it, but it's not reason enough to do it!

Well, you won't be able to use the same gearing as the S2000, and you can't use the Prelude tranny. If the RSX tranny bolted right up, you might have a chance, but you still won't have the advantage of lower gearing unless the RSX is geared like the S2k.

If you want your car to be unique, buy a $60 sawzall and cut the top off. That would make it seriously unique for not much money!!

it won't work without 20,000 of engine bay mods, f20 engine is set up for a trans axle car with it's tranny and design.. preludes(maybe you've noticed) are not transaxle. besides that.. f20 puts out 14 ftlbs of torque compared to the ludes 160.. you do the math

You will be hella stupid if you swap a f20 to a prelude.. I would rather build up your h22 and turbo it...

Yeah do it. No one have done it before so no one really knows the outcome of that swap. The downside is you are probably gonna spend no less than 10k for a swap like that.

I don't know how you are going to get it done. I guess anything can be done with enough money. but you gotta do hella mods to your engine bay to get it to fit. good luck finding a shop to do it, because with the amount of mods/changes you have to do, they may not be able to get it stucturally sound and mounted well.

the engine sits differently, and a prelude NOR RSX tranny will hook up to the engine. the design is completely different. You'd have to do a rear wheel drive conversion more than likely.

Sure for probably $30 grand you can do it.... but why?

The S2000 only weighs 2800lbs.... what's a prelude weigh??

I am sure that it can be done and all, but the problem is that its gonna cost alot more than the "uniqueness" is ever gonna be worth. First of all, you have a Lude, which around here, that unique in itself. Seriously, I see Ludes here and there, but its not at all uncommon to be at a stop light, and see 3-5 mustangs all at the same intersection. The H22 is a killer engine, honda-tuning called it a legend. Its not a power house like the Supra in-line six, but can be a 225-275whp (with mods of course) beast with stock internals. Anf if you like a high reving engine, with some agressive cams higher flowing exhaust and header, the correct tuning, redline could esily be around 8-8.2k rpms, not saying the Lude isnt already a high rever.

Ive done an engine swap...after I blew my first engine from upping the boost a bit too much, I now have a Sir S-Spec engine...theres an engine swap that has gains on the stock motor, and bolts straight in...

I'm curious what the power curve to the wheels would look like - prelude = one heavy mofo.
