Take it from an owner of an auto, buy a manual. I bought mine new off the lot and didn't have another choice if I wanted new. If I had it to do all over again, i would have looked until i found a manual.
This car is meant to have a manual, I don't even know why Honda made an auto in this car.
Since you have no choice on getting one new, get the better of the two.

i got a question! i just got a 1998 Prelude base model. on the dashboard it says unleaded fuel only but why you open to put in gas it says premium.. Should i put in Premium or Umleaded?
From my point of view, depends on how deep your pocket are for either. I'm a "stock with little upgrades" kind of guy. Just look in the member rides for ideas.

You should put in unleaded fuel with a 92 or higher octane rating. (Or is it 91?...)
