UMMM so this is what its like to put a foot in your mouth ... Damn that looks pretty good.

Still not a fan of chrome in the engine bay but that is clean. If you go to much though thats too ... low rider for me. thats why i saaid ewww originally cause every time i see chrome in engine bay makes me think of L.R.

From what I hear, it's a bad idea to chrome the valve cover, cuz it traps heat inside.

I saw someone who had chromed the VTEC on the cover.. that looked nice.

chrome retains heat. and raises the temp on your engine...

looks nice but in that pic it looks black. i like colored ones.

this look tight.... i just finished sandblasting my extra valve cover...hopefully somtime next week i get it chrome... anybody know where is a good place to chrome it at in so.cal ?

I dont know about other chrome valve covers, but mine doesnt retain anymore heat then my stock one.

if your worried about it trapping heat, why dont you just polish your valve cover. It will look almost the same.

i did some research and found out that it doesnt matter chrome or not... heat isnt suppose to escape from there anywayz...

i can get a really good deal on it now.. so who wants one let me know...

Just figured I'd help out with another pic. This is of my 4th gen though.



I don't notice any increase in temp. Had it triple chromed over a year ago at a Harley shop. I had my cover done along with a SOHC valve cover for $300. Hopefully that's gives you a price range.
