I thought id go ahead and ask in here before I bring my car into the dealer to see if anyone has a similar sound. I got a 01 prelude 5speed and within about the past 8K miles ive noticed that whenever im at a stop and start to get going into first before my foot is fully off the clutch I get a klunking noise...it sounds like its from somewhere in the front of the car. This noise also happens if I just start rolling in first and then I let off the gas real fast and have to put the clutch back in(stop and go type traffic)...does this sound like a possible problem? or is everyones car klunking around when starting to roll? Thanks in advance for any help.

That is a problem..That has never happened to me. Take it back to the dealership and have them check it out. That is something that should be covered under warranty

yep, take it in to them. if they dont hear the noise. personally take them out and show them yourself. it will be covered under warrenty
