is it possiable to use a stock obd2 p72 on my 98 honda prelude base model?
i recently bought the car and came home to find out that i dont have vtec and i am running a lx accord ecu. i also have a stock prelude p5p which im going to take to the dealer to get new keys imm unit and for them to reprogram the ecu. But i was just woundering if it would be safe to run the stock p72 without going obd1 and chipping it out. I have already bypassed the CKFP, CYPP, CKFM and CYPM. I started it up with no CEL's and it warms up fine. But after i drive it for a while it idles low like around 500 but them slowley climbs back to normal. Can i run the p72 for the mean time so i dont loose my IAB and VTEC? and is it safe? thanks agian
