Port and Polish job

Hey I'm getting crower cams put in my 2001 prelude SH. some of my friends mentioned that i should get the port and polish job while the cams are being installed. anyone know if this will do much? how much it will cost? is it really worth the money? the mechanic that is going to be installing my cams in about a month told me that it really wouldn't be worth the money for the small horsepower gain i'd get from a port and polish.

To install cams, you only have to remove the valve cover, and the guides... There would be no advantage to getting the port and polish at the same time. Just wait until you're ready... The head doesn't have to come off to install cams.
