Polished AEM Intake

Anyone know a good place to order the new Polished AEM intake for the 5gen prelude? Thanks.

it's not out yet. I call every two weeks and they keep saying 2 more weeks. right now ETA is like end of nov.

I dunno if I want the first run of them though....I might wait since I don't think I would install it anyway during the rainy season ... it rained quite a bit today.

Try www.groupbuycenter.com, I have seen them there. They have decent prices and a lot of other products for good prices. You just have to register.

those aren't aem intakes. I've seen injen ones that are polished, but it's an injen.

AEM just came out with the polished intakes recently, Injen has polished intakes also.

ive seen some on groupbuy too, but the guy that is selling it doesnt have any for the 5th gens...
did AEM make any for the 5th gens?

i emailed AEM and they told me that the will release first batch early december

waste of money...just get the regular cold air intake from aem no difference what so ever....i even heard that this polished one is going to have less performance. its just an intake not a turbo or anything...i'll make one for you if you want.

less performance? why?

I called and asked if the coating would decrease performance and they said it would not. If you think it's cause the coating is different, all three intakes have different coatings(or at least the blue one VS silver).

Of course, AEM could be lying

i heard the new ones are supposed to give 1-3 more horsepower from the original CAI cause of the new filter...
dunno if it's true or not though
