please help RIM size and fitment question as well as weight

if a one wheel and tire combo weights 40lbs for both tire and rim for each corner and i got these ADR 17inch 205/40/17 would they rub and would that be too much weight for a tire rim combo. Keep im mind im getting them for $500 with yokohama pandara tires that are new, i was there when he baught them two months ageo. Please help asap as i have to know by tomarrow afternoon or he will sell to someone else. the reasion i asked about the fitment as i getting my tein HAs monday and im planning on lowing it about 1.5inch. so far when i put the back on it looks like if i lowered it it might come close to rubbin on the back innner lip i just was seeing if anyone knows about the tire if i needed another size. thanks

well u can safely run 215/40 z17 tire on a 17 rim. But you should know the offset on the wheel. I would suggest like a 42 or better offset. Its safer this way.

But I dont think you would rub. A lot of people are lowered 1.5 and dont rub.

the only reasion im getting the 205 is due to the fact it was a package deal. if it looks like it wouldent rub when i put them on there today as it sits in the rear will it be different when its lowered?? also is 40lbs too much for one tire and rim
