was planning on swapping now considering...

Thinking i might do a rebuild instead of a swap. What kind of mileage is too high...the car i am considering has just over 150 on it (havent driven it yet sorry no detailed info). Im just worried that might be too high to deal with i put about 15k a year on it and dont want to have to get rid of it a year from now . Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

35k miles could be worse than 350k miles. depends on how it was taken care of.

If you are going to do a complete rebuilt, mileage doesn't really matter. All the parts that are worn can be replaced, provided the head and the block are undamaged. Obviously, the more that has to be replaced, the more it will cost. If cost is a big factor, a rebuild is probably the wrong choice anyway.

The key to a good rebuild is finding a machine shop that knows how to work with FRM. Odds of finding a shop locally that has experience with FRM are slim because, as far as I know, FRM sleeves are only used in a few Honda and Porsche engines. If the sleeves aren't honed correctly, your build will be trashed. This means you will probably have to ship the engine somewhere to get honed/bored/resleeved/whatever correctly, and shipping an engine back and forth isn't going to be cheap.

That said, a swap is easier, cheaper, and less can go wrong with it if you get the engine from a reputable source.

Don't get the Type S and buy from the seller is the first link hmotors, just get the regular OBD2 H22a, you'll just have to swap oil pumps and dizzy from old motor, both can be overhauled despite their mileage.
