Pics of installed Spoon Rear Bar

My sub enclosure had to be moved back because of the bar. I had assumed this would happen.

EDITTED BY Joon525:............you forgot http://
My sub box fits UNDER my Spoon bar. I had pics posted in the car audio forum before.

maybe one of the mods can help me, and yes I know how to post pics I do it on a regular biasis -----> I type the following in the new thread ---> [ IMG ]www.prelude-redline.8k.com/images/mugenludespoonrear3.jpg[ /IMG ] ----> the red X's come up, so I looks at the properties and it reads as---> [ IMG ]www.preludeonline.com/www.prelude-redline.8k.com/images/mugenludespoonrear3.jpg[ /IMG ] ---> I try to edit the thread and it is typed exactly how I posted it originally (w/o www.preludeonline,com)

Any idea why this happens???

I've got two questions:

1.) Would I be correct in saying that your cargo room, with rear seats folded or up, is significantly diminished?

2.) Do you notice any significant increase in ride stiffness now that the bar is in? I assume you have other suspension modifications. Does it make a difference, especially under heavy g-forces?

Thanks!

After I installed my rear spoon bar, I ended up removing my sub box completely. I had the same problem as Mugenlude but thought I may just build a new sub box. It has now been almost a years since and I still haven't got around to it. Kinda used to not having a sub. Makes the car lighter is what I keep telling myself. Maybe I'll get around to it someday, after I finish renovating my house.

mmmm.... PG Ti series Amp....

I'm curious, also... is all that stuff pretty secure being mounted on the back seat? I was thinking of going with a custom amp rack, but I'd rather mount the amps and x-overs the way you did so I'll have room for a rear tower bar.

Very nice.

lol same...my hole is about same size as the NTPOG one. But if I have seen this earlier I would have made it smaller as well. I ended up cutting from the side anyways...doh.

First off - thanks Joon, I didn't notice that. I'll take a look at your sub enclosure, however, I'm in the process of building a fiberglass enclosure to replace the backseat, but I have no time and I kind of lost interest in it.

1. Pulled back liner and installed brackets.
2. Put liner back into place.
3. Feel for bracket (where it hit the liner), when you find it --- make a vertical cut about 1" long with a utility knife along the each side of the bracket. Then make a cut along the top of the bracket. So now you have a upside down |_| shape.
4. Push the cut pic of liner in toward the bracket. (like you a trying to fold it on the fourth uncut side.
5. Now put the bar in the whole and push liner back. (there is just enough room to attach it).
6. Now you have one side attached. On the other side push the liner back so the bar can come down from the top and fit into bracket. Repeat the same process to bolt it in. Note: I had to jack-up my from the center rear tow hook in order to slightly spread the strut tower apart.

Wa---la done.

I just used some self-tapping screws to attach the amp.

I have Koni/Neuspeed Yellows, they just sit up that high.

1. The cargo space is diminished if you have something that doesn't fit under bar. I have had a large stereo system in my car for ever, so the storage space is not a big deal to me. I am able to fit 7 bowling balls in my truck with my sub- enclosure in there.

2. I notice the rear end rotates a little better, but I am a aggressive driver when it comes to cornering.
