Is yours up and running yet, Carol?
Yes it is, and I love it Not really driving it around too much, its running a little lean. I'm waiting for my dyno guy to open up some time for me which is hopefully next week since I don't have time to drop it off this week. A few things I had a hard time finding parts for I had Jerome @ www.sohfast.com find it for me, he's fairly quick and I believe he's located in Northern Cali also.
A few things I decided to change instead of a stock 5 speed swap over was:
-act HD 6 puck clutch
-jun flywheel
-kaaz limited slip diff
-pure racing short shifter adapter & some mugen accessories
Update on my swap. Shift cables seem to be wrong...length and positioning...so I think I got Accord cables instead. Everything else except for bleeding the clutch....is done. We had to custom fab my auto mount to fit the h23 tranny. What tranny mount did everyone thats done a h23 swap use??
i used a tranny mount off a wrecked 5 gen. to hold my usdm pos 5 spd. 5 gen. tranny but since i am not FI i dun think the h23 would have been as wise of a decision for me.

That's a great deal.
I think Honda Heaven is where Honda Mender's went for the ECU / ICU / Keys... (All the parts except for those on my swap where from a 97 Prelude, and I've got a 98...)
hey what did you guys use to cut the hole in the firewall for the clutch? i also dont see any indents so i guess, the position is sort of an educated guess, correct?

You need a drill press with blocks to keep it in place.
You also need to be using 4in1 oil or something like that to keep the teeth from dulling and to take away the particles of metal.
I originally frabricated a piece of 1/2 thick D2 steel into the same demension as the master cylinder gasket. However, it would probably be better to use a piece that was square.
It appears that the base model 5 speed has 3 bolt connections (2 from the master cylinder and 1 from a welded stud on the firewall), and a rubber stopper.
Wreckdiver sent me pics of what he took out of a wrecked base 5 speed. (Though I had noticed a litte flexation in my setup.)
