Pennzoil Racing Oil?

So anyways, my dad's carshop has a whole bunch of Pennzoil Racing Oil and Pennzoil GT Performance Oil. I did the oil change today and my dad said its okay to use any of the oil. Yeah my prelude is basiclly bone stock except for the suspensions which make my car kiss the ground. Does anybody know is it bad to use an oil that is not 5w-30 for the prelude? ([Racing Oil], that oil was really thick.=/, and i took a look at the [GT Performance], and that oil was really thin. lol.....) I feel like doing the oil change again....just to put in 5w-30 cause i feel that i put a oil not meant for a stock car...Its hard to read the markings on top of the Pennzoil can on both of them, but i believe both of them says
A SAE F
F 50 l

5w-30 is fine.

You say "Pennzoil can"? If its really a can that stuff is ancient, and if its been sitting on a garage floor it probably has paraffin (wax) that has separated from the base oil. Pennsylvania crude has a high content of paraffin. Racing oil does not have the additives needed for a street car. Do your engine a favor and buy the right oil.

I know that 0w-30 is fine for our preludes, that is what I had put in this last week.

i'm not sure why you would need an oil that operates at -10°C in florida

0w-30 will flow faster than 5w-30 or 10w-30 at low temp startup, thereby reducing engine wear and that's where the majority of wears occurs because you have zero flow (oil pressure) when you turn that key.
