parking lights stopped working - Honda Prelude Forum

I wanted to see if anyone ever found a definative explanation for my parking lights ceasing to work one day. I was sitting at a light and it flickered once then flickered again and was DOA.

So, i've checked the #10 fuse with a meter and its good. I inspected the relay's and those seem to work as well. The lightswitch seems to work as i can use high beams and get the indicator on the dash. Signals also work.

So i'm thinking about replacing the headlight switch, would that work mostly and not other times? I would imagine something like a switch to be either broken or working...

i didnt see any fried harnesses. Is it some where visible under the dash?

Looks like red/blk was being pulled by the t-connector from my alarm. Modest fidgeting got it to turn on/off. i tied the wires via ziptie to keep them connected. grr

Anyone know how to get the individual wires out of the 20p connector? I couldn't find the false top that opens to let them out. I suspect that its somehow bent as i keep loosing signal that is only fixed by pushing it in at an angle.
