Parked for 5 months

I am going to Canada on business for 5 months. I am going to be parking the Prelude for 5 months. Of course I am going to have someone start it and drive it around every so often but I was wondering what is the best method to go about. 1. I have no Garage. 2. I dont want to rent a storage shed. I was thinking a car cover to keep sun damage away. Its usually pretty hot here in the summer. Let me know. If there is anything else I should be aware of when parking it please let me know. Thanks in Advance

If you cover it and it rains you could damage the paint if the car is wet or damp and under a cover when the sun comes out again.

My car was parked for 2 months. I got in it and the check engine light came on. I don't know why, but watch out for that. Maybe the gas went bad or something.

Gas will go bad. The volatiles evaporate. There are stabilizers available.

I left my car sitting for 5 and a half months and she was fine when i got back. Had a cover on it, parked in a garage with someone comin every now and then to start it up and take it for a spin.

Find a garage.

For gas...... leave next to none in the tank. Fill it when you get back......... pull the plugs, inject some oil into each cylinder, turn the car over by hand (19mm socket in the wheel well) a few times before you start it. If you are really worried, put your car on some jacks so the tires don't square off. This way, no one will have to drive your car and it will be in good shape when you get back.

A car cover never hurts (unless it is outside like someone said before.
