Everytime I take a hard corner, I hear a knocking sound. Does it happens to you guys? Is it just the seat belt metal piece? Does it happen to you? I didn't have this problem at all until this week. Strange. I checked everywhere for loose objects that may be banging into the hard plastic. I even cleaned out my trunk and back seats. The only thing it could be are the seat belts. But then again, I tucked the back seat belt metal piece into the seat so it won't move and I still hear that knocking sound. The passenger seat belt could be doing it too but I wrapped it around the seat. Where is that sound coming from? Anyone with the same problem?
check your jack in the truck, also spare tire, trunk liner, stuff in your glove box/center console, speaker could be loose, trunk lid...etc.

I also heard that the damper collar sometimes doesnt do the trick entirely. There was a previous thread somewhere that said to add 2 to 3 washers to further compress the top mount bushing. Once you take off the self locking nut, then the upper washer, that bushing needs to be compressed further. The hole in the washer needs to be large enough to fit around that damper collar, so it'll actually go around the collar while the busing is compressed further... I did this procedure on my 2000 SS Lude, and it did the trick! Cheap! Can do it yourself! Plus no hassels from dealer if your car is dropped (like mines is)
By the description of your problem... it is not the shock knock problem.
I had that problem before when I make a hard turn or when my car is tilting from one side to another, the car is making ticking noise.. Bring your car to Honda dealer and let them take a look at the rear brakes area.

shock-knock should be cured if you swap out the stock suspension right? actually, my aftermarket suspension makes crazy noises.
Hi Guys
I dropped the car off the dealer today and found out that a big socket extension fell into the back seat from the trunk (have no idea how that happened). They said they used a magnet to pull it back out. But there might be another small socket that's down there but they will charge me 140 to remove all the seats and do a complete search for other things that fell in there. I declined the service so I'll be trying to get it out myself. I have no idea how i'm going to take apart the back seat. But I'll try something. Hopefully, that would solve that mysterious clunk!
I remember my friend telling me about a clunking sound when I was test driving before I bought the car but didn't expect it to be something like this! We thought it was the seat belts that were making that clunking sound. So hopefully I'll find something valuable that's down there. Like a golden nugget? or a Rolex?
It's really easy to remove the back seats if you're worried. Ask if you can't figure it out which I doubt, but I'd be glad to tell you how to remove the back seats.

And I thought it was only Jaguars that had mechanics pissed off enough to toss wrenches in doors so that the cars would rattle till kingdom come.
If a dealer tried that trick on me, "we got one part out, (the socket that was making the noise), but we're gonna **** you for $140 to get out the second part (that they *just* tossed into your 1/4 panel), I'd go fu*king ape sh*t on them!
I'd bag right back to that no good, dumbass dealer and open a can off whoop ass on them!
