all those who painted their 5gen, oh man, how much you guys pay to paint the whole car, door sills, and engine bay? did any of you not paint the engine bay? thanks.

I was thinking about it, but don't have the money right now.

If you are painting the same color, there is no need to do the engine bay or door sills. Of course the shop will blend into the sills and engine bay and trunk.

If you are changing the color, yes, or it will look like poo.

What color do you have?

I beleive for a great paint job (quaitly wise) its from 3,500 to like 5K. That includes engine bay, door crap and the trunk crap. ps. Rough estimate

Also depends on how much prep work is needed body wise. I'm sure you won't want to paint over dents and parking lot dings. 3K+ sounds about right if you're having a friend do it. If you walk in to a shop, you're looking at up to double that. I'm getting a friend to do mine and he ls letting me help and cutting me a break. Still close to 3 grand though. But I'm molding in a kit as well.. Paint is expensive.

i paid 1500 bucks,,door jams too,,thing is I painted it viper race yellow,,,the engine bay still is blk though,,i think it looks good,,,ill show some pics,,,i get it back today...
