is NH-624p and NH-624p1 the same color? both premium white? i know the 624p is premium white, and i know the 624p1 is white, just making sure it is also premium. not sure what the 1 at the end means

I'm pretty sure they are both Premium White Pearl.

Honda likes to vary their numbers depending on year and model. For example p1 could be for Prelude and p can be for Civic. Just example. But the colors are identical.

My heather mist metallic 4th gen Prelude code is slightly different than the same exact color for the Accord.

they are both from 5th gens. my p is from a 01 base usdm, the p1 is from a 98 s-spec new zeland.

thought the ppw came out 99-01, so i wasn't sure why the 98 has it, and so the 1 made me nervous. buying a part from it i don't want to repaint.

Same color, but sometimes there's a different color tone added, cause that's the case with silverstone metallic that comes on s2ks. Depending on the year depends on the color tones mixed.
