Is our car (5spd) hard to drive?

Man, I have let like 3 peeps drive my car... They all had trouble! Its like they expect the friction point to come earlier than it does or something cuz they always run up the rpms. I never have any trouble driving standards, whether it be a jeep, a mustang, a truck, or anything. Has anyone else noticed this?

I dont think its much different from other manuals. I used to valet, so i've driven a lot of different trannys, and the Lude's is not strange at all.

I jus got my car a year ago. Coming from a girl, compared to other cars, the clutch is super long but still very easy to drive. Jus gotta get used to it. When I drive other people's cars I'm not used to the short clutches. I think when people drive a different car for the first time they always run up the rmp jus because it feels different. I know I do.

yah dude, personally i think its easy, cause i drive my car everyday, but when i drive other peoples cars, the are a lot simpler. our stock clutch is kinda funny, but when people drive my car, they flip out. they say the throttle is real sensitive and the clutch feels long. but, i love my car!

To me the problem is that the throttle isn't sensitive enough. It needs to respond quicker so D-clutch downshifts can be done quicker.

Every different make/model will feel slightly/moderate different.
Just have to get use to it.........

Well, I guess it is that lengthy clutch, but I never have problems on other cars... Even my bro who drives an Si takes a minute to get used to it. Im used to it and have had no problems at all ever since I started test driving Ludes... Iono, I guess just different people, different cars...
