Actually its not even close to french. We do not have an accent. We are no where near pom status at all or anything. Our english is just normal :| . We say it PRE LUDE. PRE get that indy PRE....LUDE like lube but change the B to a D and you get LUDE. SO PRELUDE not PREYLUDE

I love watching those old reviews, except for the ubiquitous cheesy 1980's stock music they play instead of letting the viewer hear how the car sounds.

Prelude:
prel·ude
[prel-yood, preyl-, prey-lood, pree-] verb, -ud·ed, -ud·ing.

Personally I say Preylood (eh?). As a verb I would say Preeluded, but I don't think I've ever had a reason to say it. *shrug*

Preeelude to me sounds like someone trying to say it with their collar and tie too tight.
