Oil Pump?? I Think!!..

ok so everything was going good with my lude, i checked the engine oil, the tranny oil, anti-freeze and other fluids and everything seem perfect and i had just change my stock exhaust to the tsudo n1 exhaust that i love alot cuz of the deep clean sound it gives out.....well i got inside the car to warm it up and take it off for a ride well not only two minutes later i hear a leak...i got outside the car to check and realize it was the oil, all the oil came out and it was not a small leak it was like a huge leak. i felt like crying lol. some people are telling me it might be something simple or the oil pump broke and i really think it is the oil pump and not a hole in the engine or something really bad like that...i know its going to be a big job to do tho and that sucks..anyways if anybody knows what exactly might be wrong with my car please help..please help.

i had a similar leak once, it was a gasket between the oil filter adapter housing (piece that the oil filter screws onto) and the engine block. it started as a small leak, but in two weeks it was losing ~quart every 5 miles. if the oil is leaking down on to your flexpipe (the section of the exhaust that looks like it is braded, and well, flexible) then it is most likely this gasket. If not, check your oil sending unit, which is located directly below the filter adapter housing.

hope this helps
