Oil Pressure Sender unit with slight oil leak

So ive noticed over the past couple months that the hose coming out of bottom left side (facing the car) has been sweating oil...but nothing ever dripped down on the ground. Well i caught some drops of oil and i think its time to fix the problem.

I'm pretty darn sure this hose is the oil pressure sender unit. Like i said its a hose coming out of what looks to be the left side of the oil pan (right side if your under the car). Is this an easy fix? I assume it requires draining the oil. I have cardboard covering my garage floor so a few drops wont hurt for a while till i find the time to fix this...but has anyone else experienced this/fixed this?

There are no hoses coming out of the oil pan. I'm not sure if you're talking about the oil cooler or not. The oil pressure sending unit is right under the oil filter and is usually covered by a gray rubber/plastic boot. There are no hoses for the oil pressure sending unit. It screws into the block and has a single wire bolted to it.

If it's oil, it sounds like the o-ring on the oil cooler is bad and needs to be replaced. It's not a fun job, but you can finish it in an hour or so. The hoses coming out of the cooler don't carry oil, they carry coolant.

A couple of hints on the oil cooler o-ring, freeze it, and use Hondabond to hold it in place when you install it. If you don't do this, it's next to impossible to install the darn thing.

hmm maybe it would prove best to take a picture next time im down there. Its also possible that this house isnt coming out of the oil pan but i assumed that it was. In the next couple weeks i'll see if i can get the car off the ground.
