sell the mechancial oil pres. gauge and get yourself an electrical gauge...the electrical gauge has a sending unit so you only have to run wires into the cabin instead of running an oil line...plus, use sealant on the threads of the sending unit...this will solve your problem

That's all he needs to do. Use liquid teflon on both the sending unit and the gauge fittings. There's no need to buy another gauge. If it's installed correctly, it won't leak. Spending money on a new gauge is a silly thing to do. Just spend a few bucks on the teflon sealant, and you're set. Don't use teflon tape, only use liquid teflon.

Really? Why do you say only use liquid teflon? I used teflon tape on mine and currently it's working fine. I still need to do my water temp sensor though...

If you don't apply the tape correctly, you can get little shards of teflon in the oil. Teflon can withstand the heat, so it won't dissolve. If it's not caught by the oil filter, it could cause some serious problems. If you apply teflon tape correctly, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Same place that you tap for a mechanical gauge, where the stock oil pressure light switch is located. You will need a 1/8 BST to 1/8 NPT adapter as well.

Teflon tape also has the chance of splitting leaving an uncovered area of thread.
