OEM Underspoiler Kit NO MORE!!!!!!!? - Honda Prelude Forum

Talked to my Honda Dealership today (Manchester Honda, I'm sure you've all heard of it), and they said that the underspoiler kits are no longer available, because there was no demand for them and the car is not being made anymore!

DAMN! That sucks now that people won't be able to get it anymore!

So that means websites like Handaaccesories and others won't be carrying it anymore either? hmmm..........

I was at the dealer today and they told me they had to order them. Maybe they don't know about this or hopefully they have some left.

I got to get it fast because I love that kit!

yeah i know, im just glad i ordered it, but they keep telling me it's backordered so i hope that doesnt mean they dont have anymore..........!!!!!!!!!!

yes they still do have the oem kit but the dealer has to order them cause i was asking for them and they had told me they dont have any in stock and they would have to order them and it would take a few weeks...and its a grip..so i decided to get the ww rs kit

I was talking to the dealer. If you want one, get them now, plastic card time. I'm in Canada, too, and it's now impossible to get the OEM kit in some colors. I have mine - but:

This is REALLY irresponsible on honda's part. If I drive into a snowbank (canada) then my kit is likely going to be finished even if it's a low speed impact. Since the car would look stupid without the front lower wing, or without one of the side skirts, you're SOL on the whole $$$ you spent - you can't get pieces anymore.

Honda has the most horrible customer service known to mankind. My parents walk into the Chrysler dealer - and they do it alot, because their cars keep breaking, haha - but they tore the engine in the neon down twice without blinking, and replaced the whole front end suspension on their V10 truck - without hassles.

Arrrgh. Too bad I like the damn cars so much.. just have to get a s2k if I eat a snowbank. That, and get some new accomidations in a nice cardboard box..

Yes, they do have horrible customer service some of the times. I was told that Premium White and Ficus Pearl Green (or whatever) will no longer be available, and that for the other colors, they will soon no longer produce them. This is what I have been told by Manchester Honda.....

I was able to order my OEM kit last week on Thursday through Manchester Honda in Premium White. I spoke to JB at Man Honda and he was cool to deal with. He said they are available and that it'll take 3 days to get to their place from wherever they are getting it at and then another 5+ days to ship to my door. Unless they call me back and tell me otherwise

, I should be getting my OEM kit early next week hopefully

Man, I'm tired of dealing with Honda about this crap. I think they are unprofessional when it comes down to this. I ordered my front lip in Premium White in early December! They first tell me it will take about a week. Then they call me back a week later and tell me that's on back order till Jan 17th! I call the 17th and they still don't know jack. I've been calling every single day to see if it ever came in. Yesterday I finally had enough, I went and got my money back. I ordered my DC headers instead. I sure hope that the guys you ordered it from will have it to you in a week, like they claim. I actually called them up first and they told me it was on back order. I got in touch with both www.hparts.com and http://handa-accessories.com, and neither of them had them. So, no front lip for me
