i took the pin out with a flat head

you don't HAVE to take off the bumper, but it makes it soooooo easy to put the rear lip on if you do.

only thing you risk is having a gap from the bumper to the car.

its a lot easier to do it taking it off, its not that hard really, just be careful putting it back on so you dont scratch anything. You need to check if theres any gaps b/t the lip and bumper before putting it on, tighten/loosen bolts as necessary to eliminate gap then put it back on the car. I had a gap and I loosen a bolt a little and it went away

wat gap between bumper and car? u mean if u don't bumper back on correctly?

o yea how do u take off that pin? its completely flat... i couldn't even fit a razor blade through it. its just ilke a flat rubber piece, not ilke the plastic clips.

it's not a matter of "if you put it back on correctly".

the clips become loose once you remove em, you could buy new ones but there's not much to be done. The gap is not notcible to some people simply because they bought their car used and they already have the gap. It was only noticible to myself because it used to be completely flush and now there's a 3mm gap

i somehow fit a flathead in there. don't know how to explain it anymore

*shrug*

I put it on with the bumber on took my 15 min to get on... yes it was tricky to get the stock black trim out because there are objects in way but it was easy to snap back on with the bolts... i said screw it im not taking bumber off and i went the easier way i think.
