OEM Kit questions...

Hey, for any of you guys who had the OEM kit installed after purchasing your Lude:

1.) How much is the kit?
2.) Did your dealer install (or a body shop)?
3.) Does it come paint-matched or unpainted?
4.) How much did you pay for installation?

I appreciate your help... Thanks!

Install yourself,it is time consuming but it is easy to do. Here is the link from where I purchased mine.
http://www.handa-accessories.com/preext.html This was the best deal that I found. It comes factory painted.

Cool... thanks a lot! The OEM kit is less expensive than I thought it would be

1. around $800 shipped from www.handa-accessories.com
2. Install the lip and side by myself, let dealer install the rear
3. painted matched
4. forgot.

I just tried to access the handa webpage and the instructions came up ok. But you can also grab them from my page if you like:

Front lip instructions
Sides
Rear

Good luck with the install - I might buy the OEM kit myself

You gotta be friggin' kidding me... everytime I see something for my car that I want, they discontinue producing it. First Racing Hart C5's, and now this!

My car will be at the dealer for its 15k mile service on Tuesday. I'll talk to their parts people and see if they can just locate it for me... I'm lazy and willing to pay the extra $$$.

If I can't go OEM, then Mugen it is... man owning a Prelude can be a pain in the ass...

i might buy the erubuni 179 kit for the 5th gen lude. this one almost looks like stock but it is a combo of fiberglass(sides i guess) and polyurethane.500 something and u have to get it painted.

Hey, even if they have discontinued the front lip----there are still some to buy. I bought mine last week on HPARTS.COM for 165.00 (crystall metallic blue). They were backlogged so it took mine a week to get to my house, but I get the shipping charges waived.
Good quality, color was identical to stock color. Give them a chance.

I bought my oem kit from Manchester Honda (www.manhonda.com) for about $650 total shipped. It comes painted and I did the installation myself
