OEM front lip gap...HELP PLEASE!!!

sup everyone. today i installed my front lip and i noticed that there was a small gap (about 2-3 mm) on the sides when i was done. is that normal or did i get a f***** up lip? any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this? thanks

oh yea...i used the tape that honda gave me and that couldn't hold it so i just took off the tape.....

Did you use a washer in between the lip and the bumper on the side where the philip head screw goes?

Hmm... doesn't sound normal. My front lip sits flush against the bumper and there isn't any tape either so that shouldn't be a problem for you. Good luck!

I had the same thing happen to me too. I still have the gap there, but I put a couple little rubber washers b/t the front lip and wheel well. (Know what I'm talking about?) It's still there, but it isn't as bad.

i got some gap on one side too, just try to use some 3m double sides tape its kinda helps....

some people got lucky and their front lip is perfectly flush with the bumper and then some not so lucky

i guess i'll try to put a washer in between the lip and the bumper tomorro or something and see if that helps. luckily i got it from hparts for only $100. thanks for the help guys
