Exedy clutches are very good products, and like others have said there won't be a large difference between the OEM replacement and a stage 1. you might have a little heavier clutch feel with the stage 1, but it won't be disruptive in driving, in fact, I personally enjoy a slightly heavier clutch.
I don't have any personal experience with the OEM setup, but I do have the Stage 1 Exedy clutch in my car currently. pedal pressure is slightly increased (which IMO is a good thing), and I haven't had any issues, although the clutch is fairly new. clutch grip is excellent, and haven't had any problems with my mild build driven on the track.
keep in mind that with the Type SH, you must remove the ATTS unit which will lead to higher prices if a shop does the work, or a bigger headache if you do the work. if you are doing the work, I highly suggest purchasing a
Helms Manual. there are usually a couple floating around the For Sale section.
if you are taking the car in, I would suggest trying to find a good independent Honda mechanic, rather than doing it at the dealership, which due to the ATTS unit being present, would charge you a very high price.
good luck, and welcome to PO! there's a wealth of information on this board, and we're happy to have you here.
