OBX Headers--any good?

I found a pretty sweet deal on OBX headers--but I havent heard too much about them, I know DC probably the best out there, but are OBX comparable?

No, they are ****. I was actually looking at a ractive header next to a DC one yesterday at a shop. What a noticeable difference in quality.

DC Sports Ceramic headers rust? What about the stainless?

Don't the stainless steel headers change colors though?

i heard that the flanges on the stainless steel rust in time. The CC header is just a mild steel coated, if you chip it, it starts to rust. but is not a big deal it will take years and years for it to be a problem. hope that helps

what is the difference in the two types of headers, besides the obvious fact that one is ceramic coated? Like what are the +'s and -'s????

one controls heat better, and one looks good polished up. are you for show or go is the question here. The stainless will last longer but it puts out more heat

As far as I understand the ceramic and stainless will perform the same since they are made in the same design. The stainless steel tubes won't rust but will discolor from the heat and the flange will rust on them since it is not made from stainless. The ceramic should not rust as easily but aren't shiney and are $100 cheaper.

I was just wondering if anyone had tried painting the flanges on these with any kind of rust inhibiting paint. I would think that if they were painted with a high heat silver paint, at least on the flanges, it may help keep them looking good longer.
