OBDII H22a into base swap

I want to do a JDM H22a swap into my base lude since my motor is dead and was wondering if I can get some answers. Theres a local guy selling a base OBDII H22a for pretty cheap and was wondering if theres any difference between the OBDII and OBDI besides engine management and harness connectors. I did my research and just wanted to make sure before I spend my money and be disappointed. Any advice is deeply appreciated.

I know for which ever motor I use, I will have to switch out the following onto the JDM h22a:

USDM dizzy
USDM oil pump assembly
USDM CRK and TPS sensor
USDM CRK gears
USDM VTEC solenoid
USDM thermostat housing
USDM alternator, PS, crank Pulley
USDM intake manifold and injectors

And supposedly the USDM balance gears and knock sensor

Can anyone tell me if anything is missing and if I really do have to switch the knock sensor and balance gears? Also if I can use a USDM transmission with the JDM H22a? I know you can tell the difference between the type s and base H22a by oil filter location, number on the block, etc but how can you tell if the block is actually OBDII? I really don't want to get ripped off.

Everything is the same minus sensor location and ECU.
