I don't follow, but PSPEC has a new short shifter. I hear 4bidden is coming out with one soon.

There is no such problem for Preludes, you have nothing to worry about.

thanx guys

I'm in the process of getting Rota slipstreams 16x7 just want a second opinion, I want my lude to be clean as much as possible no show car with body kit or extreme wing with flame decals, but my guess is gunmetal slipstreams. Anyone disagree?

wow 15's they aint a bit to small? you have some pictures?

thanks for the tips guys i am getting pspec short shifter

I was wondering what would be the difference If i was to get a regular short shifter brand or no brand versus pspec short shifter. They should both give a lower setting right? Unless I got a Short throw shifter? Kinda confused on short throw and short shifter, which model one has both options?

If you havent gotten them i would think twice. I heard a lot about rotas not all great. They have been cracking a lot due to poor forging. Quality is about 6-10 My opinion. Also many people have reported cracked rims.

Currently there is only one true short shifter available for the 5th gen prelude. (PSPEC)

4bidden is supposed to come out with their version soon, and then there will be two choices.

All other brands are just short shift adapters, they shorten the length of the throw but not the height of the shifter.

PSPECs new design allows for shorter height along with a shorter throw.

there's also the lean racing shifter (which i think is the first truly adjustable [3 throw settings but each one can be leaned further or closer to you giving you 6 positions] throw shifter for the 5th gen), but i'm pretty sure geramy knows it's out of production till further notice so he just didn't mention it.

i have the new pspec. it's a friggin work of art and mechanical masterpiece. i'm looking for a clear boot to show it off lol

I have PSPEC shortshifter. Driving is now even more enjoyable. The price may seem high but i think it is worth it. Very high quality product and super easy trouble free install.

great i just ordered mine yesterday from pspec website, will be getting it soon hopefully, and as for installing it, how easy would you rate from 1-10 difficult for someone who has never installed a part on there lude besides an intake lol. I know there is a tutorial on installing it i might attempt to do it myself but feel like a will mess up, so i might just take it to the shop if i fail.
