Am I the only one who uses non-synthetic oil on my new 5th gen A/T? I was told that as long as you are religious about changing your oil every 3000miles, there isn't really any benefits of using the good expensive synthetic oil. Anyone?

you will be fine as long as u change the oil religiously every 3,000 miles. i did the same and engine wise, there are no problems. but if u ahve a SS, then please change ur tranny fluid say every 10k-15k miles. it will save u in the end, but the end will still come.

SS as in sportshift? Do I have to use Honda tranny fluid?
