no vtec in first.......help

alright usually in first gear i geel the crossover around 5200 rpms, but in first gear i havent felt it in like a week or so. i feel it every once and a while but hardly ever. what do u think is wrong? i have 68000 miles on the 97 lude and i need an oil change( its been 4k miles). let me know what u think the problem could be .......................

sorry eddie, if you're as intoxicated when you're driving as when you post, maybe that's why you haven't 'geeled' the crossover in a week or two...is that how long its been since you fell off the wagon?

oh yeah, and the mileage on your oil and/or car has nothing to do with anything...it's the OIL LEVEL that is the singular MOST important item to check regularly, i.e., with every gas fill. Do you know how to check your oil?

i didnt know all yall were english teachers and u had to have a typing degree to be on preludeonline,so thanks for the vow of confidence, but anyway thanks for the replies and i got a oil change and it still doesnt feel like it kicks in all the time. could it be something else? should i have it checked out?
