i just installed a new radio. the stock cd player went bad and i thought it was a good time for an upgrade after Christmas. well i installed everything, the radio works and sounds great, but now my SRS light is on CONSTANTLY. the only accident the car has had was when it slid of the road on ice and took out a decorative lawn light pole... no airbag deployment. its kind of unnerving, airbags or seat belts aren't something you screw around with. any suggestions on how to fix the problem.

IIRC, the SRS light doesn't come on because of an accident or airbag deployment.
It's on because there is something wrong with the airbag circuit.
Did you mess with any wires that you shouldn't have while installing your stereo?
Check fuses.
