There was a guide on here on how to reset it but I think all of the pic links are broken/old.

Did you do anything to make it stay on? Is the stock steering wheel fitted?

Mine has always been on since I bought the car with a Momo Tuner steering wheel on it (which I love).

BTW A bit off topic but mrbd103: What kind of friggin steering wheel was on that car that he wanted $500 for!!??

Yes that is what it is cuased by, that is there becuase when the guy rmoved the steering wheel he didnt have the battery off and it threw the srs. That is also danegrous as if the battery is hooked up you can set the airbag off and do serious damage.

ya lol so i hopped in the car for the test drive a drove it around and this guy is like.... well ill give ya the car for 6k with the wheel on. i was kinda thinkin he was ganna send me away with a pair of vise grips on the steering wheel spline... but he had the stock wheel. i duno what kinda wheel it was but iv seen this wheel b4 and i beleave he paid 600 for it Yeee~

and i dont think there was a risk of the air bag going off because the battery was connected, he didnt put the ribbon back in that gives power to the air bag, thats why my srs light is on, the circit is still open, i bet if u took ur wheel off it would be emty or not plugged in at all, if ya relly want the light off i may be interested in selling my ribbin, har har har

^sadly you are mistaken, once you unplug the airbag with the battery plugged in the light goes on and then it is a process to get it turned off. You will see when you take it apart and plug it back in, the srs light will stay on.

I have no idea what happened i barely bought the car about two days ago and didn't notice the srs light stayed on while i drove it. the steering wheel is stock and i have no idea if the previous owner did anything to make the light stay on.

There was a post Here, as 98 SH mentioned, that showed u how to reset it. There is a yellow plug under
The steering wheel with two wires in it that need to be bridged in order to reset the SRS light. The best way is just Google it. it is the same method for accords and preludes. I did it my but I don't remember exactly how is done.
