New to the Forum: Conversion Question - Honda Prelude Forum

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and a proud owner of an 01 prelude. I love this car! Just wanted to know if anyone has heard or attempted to convert the 5th gen dash into a 4th gen. Don't get me wrong i luv the 5th gen overall i just thought it would be cool to have the 4th gen dash.

If I were going to go through the hasle of building a custom dash, I'd opt for after market gauges. But thats just me I guess.

I know enough to tell you you can buy 3 whole 4th gen cars for the cost involved in converting your dash.

wtf why would you want 4th gen stuff in your 5th :| . Get some gauges or something lol paint the bazel rings silver or something lol or watever it is!

yea i would stick with the 5th gen stuff, 4th sucks god i hate them, just make sure you dont go getting one of those retarded big tachs

well ive never heard of this being done but you could save yourself some money and buy a 4th gen. theyre more like a true sports car with the seats body style etc so you should invest

you wont be dissappointed

well eve of you wanted to do it it is not possible as the 5th gen dash is about an inch and a half wider than the fourth gen dash, as well as the firewalls are different shape so you would have a helluva time trying to conto0ur the dash to make it fit and look nice. If you are that concerned with you 5th gen dash then why not opt for an ap1 or ap2 digitial gauge cluster? they look pretty darn cool, not my style as i love the needle gauges but nice non the less.
