New Engine Help! what is a good swap?

Hey guys i just recently found out that i might need to get a new engine because my 97 sh which had a 99 engine in it i think has a crack or something the mechanic said because there is water in the oil and oil in the water so he is looking for the crack and what it needs but there is a high chance im going to need a new one so i was wondering which one is a good to swap that give good performance it had the h22a4 in it and im new to hondas so idk which are fast and good so. and also where should i go to get one or look to buy one? is it worth it to get a brand new engine or find a used one. let me know what you guys think thanks.

If you do get a jdm, make sure you get the type s. Otherwise your atts wont work.

hey i just found a h22a engine out of a 99 accord and he wants 500 for it, would that work in my 97 lude sh, im really now just looking for a good cheep engine to replace my old one for cheap. also it has 101k miles on it.

I hav a 98 prelude. think a k24a3 swap is the way to go or a k24a2. I am thnkng k24a2. I appreciate any input.
* Are they even that much of a difference?
