It's great! It totally changed the way my stock system sounds...it almost appears as if I had aftermarket speakers (what a couple of people have said anyways)!

Aww come on now, this isn't a competition. Just think of it as we both have great HUs Besides, the 801 doesn't really offer much over the 701..I don't think so anyways

Too bad it doesn't have CD-TEXT. That's my one requirement. That would have looked real nice though because it's a perfect match for my interior.

Here it is North America's version:

Notice the orange and green colors. I think they match the stock orange lights inside the prelude perfectly. There are some green lights that come on too.......

perfect match, any opinions color wise????

my radio

i love it.
3 preouts and no speaker power. aux in sub woofer control cd text and lots more. gotta love the blue/ silver to match my lude. best looking alpine i think. all the new ones are uglyier design and harder to use features

i work with them alot so i know. i install them for a living haha.

imo sony=crap
kenwood is good
alpine best
pioneer is ok
jvc is crap
aiwa is garbage
panisonic should stick with tvs but still ok

in car stereo u really get wat u pay for
