i did some research but it didnt really answer my questions. i am currently riding on eibach prokits + stock shocks. i want to swap the prokits out for neuspeed race springs, because i was not satisfied with the drop on the prokits. do you think this is a good idea? pros and cons would be nice. pics also ...thanks luders!

hmm during my research some of the people had race springs w/ stock shocks and they were fine. so i'll just wait till a few more people reply with recommendations and stuff and i'll make my final decision. btw, prokits on stock shocks are like stock! but its 1/2 1/2...cuz i know people who said that prokits were bouncy on stock shocks. i think the same theory applies to the neuspeed races

Why are u changing springs? Would u consider the neuspeed sports or isn't that enough of a diff. Whatever u decide i would buy it from that site b/c they are fast and will get them to u in 3 days

i am changing because i want a lower drop. the neuspeed sports would be too similiar to the drop of the prokits. thanks for the advice tho man..but im getting hooked up. i juss need more advice and suggestions about the neuspeed race springs before i go through the final stages of the purchase.
ive got the race on, but ive only driven it about 4 or 5 times since ive had them on, and the good thing is, was it wasnt bouncy those times i drove it.

hows the drop? finger gap wise? is it lower in front than the rear? thanks man
Originally posted by typeshlude I had neuspeed race on my stock shocks, front only, since i was still awaiting arrival of the konis way back when. My front shocks blew out in 1 day.
Konis arrived the following day, took the stocks out, and they were leaking oil everywhere.
damn that sounds crazy i havent heard of such problems on the base lude yet. after reading the review on ntpog.org, i think im gonna get the neuspeeds. more input would be nice and greatly appreciated tho
i swear........if you buy the neuspeed race springs, if you have the front springs with the part numbers 50.20.14, i can say that you are screwed and you are going to need a Civic/Integra type perch. Go ahead and look up some of my posts on my problem that I had with my Neuspeed Race springs.

damn man sorry to hear that thanks for the info i'll check on them right now..and hopefully that isnt the part #
Get some shock/struts with that. IT might seem ok with stock shock/strut but in couple of months, your engine mount will break off or crack, your tires will worn out faster, and your fillings will fall out faster than you could double clutch down to second. Besides your front and rear axle will be brearing too much load with out shock/strut support and eventually it'll bend or crack and also the bearing will rip on the strut/spring mount. Just to let you know. My friend was doing the same thing and his engine poped out, cause' the shocks blew out but he kept riding... Get KYB AGX, they're inexpensive and adjustable.
i dont think anybody will give you that part number, they'll give you the part number on the box. thats going to be either a 50.20.95, or a 50.20.94. Sure the box numbers may be correct, but the springs inside won't be. Neuspeed even said that I had the right springs. Lying punks

oh naww cuz im buying them used. and i asked for the part number on the front springs. thanks for the .02 cents tho man
i have the Race on my stock shocks right now, and for about a year so far i haven't had a problem with them at all...but i am getting Koni Yellows within the next month because i know that they will make a dramatic improvement in ride and stability...
as for the wheel gap, it's a perfect drop imo...less than one finger gap, almost none (with the stock wheels)...looks great...

cool thanks man is that, 1 finger gap in rear nd no gap in front? thanks
heres a pic, you really cant tell in the pic because of the distance, but i have like a 1 finger gap in the rear and none in the front. i think the reason for the 1 finger in the rear is cause its 18''s back there and 17''s up front.
