need your help cell 71,72,73,74

hii all,

new member from israel, nice to meet this great forum.

my H22A in my ACCORD TYPE-R 2002 start to do problems.(the last A7 was broken unfortunately )

ther are a few problems with this H22A :

1. the eng is losing oil - i have check it and cilinder 2 hase a bad oil rings... you can see on the plug oil all over it.

i'v beeb check the comp and its : c1 = 220, c2= 205, c3=220,c4=220.

i guess its meen a total overall for that eng..

2. the plug on this cylender hade a broken electrode...

3. the cell is ON and OFF , when its ON the code are : 71, 72, 73, 74 - i know its meens misfire on all cylinders.

ther are new plugs and the cell is still ON (sometimes it go OFF by itself, and a few days after its go ON again...)

do you know how to fix this problems?

You can get misfires for various reasons but usually on all cylinders can mean bent valves but still unsure as like I said multiple things can cause misfires.

Your rings aren't bad, the oil on the plugs is from the valve cover gasket, go to Honda and buy a new valve cover gasket kit, comes with the tube seals you need. Don't buy aftermarket gaskets, they suck and just leak over time. You need to pull that engine and overhaul it since it sounds like you just dropped it in without changing anything, t-belt, water pump and every seal should be changed on a JDM engine before swapping, if not it will just start leaking like crazy.

You should also change the distributor cap, rotor and wires with all OEM, could make your misfire go away.
