need some help asap!

im trying to figure out if switching my 5th gen prelude to obd1 will bypass the immobilizer and ill be able to start the car without a programmed key. ive searched and most people say it will work, but the odd one says it wont because theres still the immobilizer box in the dash. so trying to find someone that has done it so i know 100% before wasting money. thanks for any help
