Need Opinions...........

Ok, i'm getting payed this friday, and want too many things for the lude. Just need some opinions on what to do to it.

Should I:

1) Retint the windows for $160 since the front two windows are messed up from when i purchased the car used or should i remove tint all together (Lude is black).

2) Buy a Rockford Fosgate amp to go along with my 2 10" JL Audio Subs and get it installed. (i'm getting a discount on the amp) $220(amp) + $70 for installation with subs.

3) AEM Cold air intake $170

4) Save up and wait 2 weeks for next paycheck and buy some Tein SS coilovers and get it installed.

I'm leaning towards the Tein coilovers since the lude needs to be dropped badly, but i love music and a system would be badass just about now, especially since i have XM radio. I really appreciate your opinions, thanks.

hmm....what do you have on your prelude already? I don't know how much you're getting payed or how much you want to spend, but I would say to get the AEM CAI and the tint quickly....intake cuz it's one of the first things you should do, and then tint cuz like andrew said....crappy tint'll make you look weak

if you're dyin to do somethin now, those would be my choices, but I would definitely look to getting the tein's also. they're expensive, but well worth it

The only mods to my car so far:

1) JDM fogs
2) Pioneer 9300
3) XM radio

My paycheck is about $900, of which $400 is going to car payment.

I'd say go for the tint man. I hate it when cars have jacked up tint. It makes it look as though the car is in ****ty condition and it makes it look like you don't care about the car.

^^ ImportHorizon.com is always cheap....haven't looked in awhile, so I'm not sure if they're still the cheapest.

on second thought, I'd definitely agree w/ you on that.....that's what I decided to do instead of modding (which didn't matter cuz I did both at the same time ) and started makin huge car payments in order to pay it off quickly. now I don't have to worry bout car payments and I can buy what I want w/o havin to take a chunk out of my available money automatically to cover the car payment

^^ I should start getting in the habit of making double payments, but $800/month is a lot. Anyway, I'd say get your tint fixed then the CAI.

i pay 275$ a month, got my car for 14,500. i make double payments as well, and have only had it for 9 months and only owe 8,500 on it as of now. but some ass just rear-ended me the other day (i was parked standing 2 feet from it and he was drunk) so i gotta get alot of stuff fixed. i'll post pics later when i get home. so depressing. i ahead on payments by alot now, so now i'm modding for the time being. it should be payed for this time next year, or very very close!

I like that double payment option, but they'res nothing like a hooked up lude. And if i'm putting all my money towards car payment, i wont' have any for mods.

I recently installed the AEM CAI. It isn't hard but takes a few hours. $70 for a GOOD job isn't at all bad I wouldn't say. Go for the CAI. You'll love it!
