I'm thinking about buying these...however, I have doubts about them. Anyone ever seen a picture of a Prelude with these on? Or what's your personal opinion about these? Thanks in advance!
I have also seen these, and I would say they are the least hideous non-stock break lights you could put on a 5th Gen. Still doesn't say much..... if you must change them, I would say good choice.
I thank all of you for the great replies! Especially 2000Turbolude, for the pic and the offer to sell. However, I am thoroughly convinced that these taillight would looks ludicris on a prelude. On I go to ebay and junkyards, in hopes to find a stock taillight. Thanks again!
u know what u can do though, u can take the altezza lights and tint the top half red and make it look like stock, i know someones done it before and it looks pretty close to stock,,,,,sometihng like thiss...

Ugh! Sorry, but the round Mark IV "Supra-esque" tail lights only look good on a Mark IV Supra (Twin Turbo model). The Supra is all about curves, while the prelude is mostly about straight lines with only a few curves thrown in here and there. Square or rectangle tail lights would match our cars best, not circular ones. Therefore, our stock lights are so far the best choise. And I don't wanna hear a word about "contrast" BS.
never understood why you can get them damn bootleg altezza tailights for like $80 a pair but try bying oem style and the price is rediculous.
but if I got into an accident and thats all I can afford I'd probably get them black them out and use them until another poor 5th gen bites the dust with a front end or side impact collision.
