need a new fuel pump

just wondering if this is a DIY and what kind of pump I should get. The car has been sitting for over and year...with random starting up and currently isn't starting anymore. Is a Walboro too much for oem internals and bolt ons? I am planning on upgrading internals eventually but for right now I might as well get a good pump since I gotta replace it anyways.....thanks in advance...

Joshua

From what I have heard the pump just insures that the fuel is there if needed. Your stock FPR and injectors is what determines how much fuel your engine gets. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just get a replacement pump. The stock one flows just fine for even hot NA motors. I would only suggest an aftermarket high-flow one for FI with injectors over 500cc (assuming stock pressure).

I have an extra OEM fuel pump in my garage if you'd like to buy it. I thought I had an issue with my fuel pump when I replaced it, nothing happened, so it's just been chillin ever since..I'll sell it for only $50
