Ok so I've got this issue with my motor...
I just finished rebuilding my motor - sleeved, pistons, and such. Using AEM EMS - but no good map (hince another issue i'm working through) - I had the motor cranked and running a few weeks ago but it was very, very rich. I changed a few adjustments in the AEM EMS and since, I have not been able to crank the motor. So short of pulling out all mods and ems and replacing with oem stuff and ecu - I wanted to double check a few items like make sure timing is spot on. So I pull the valve cover off and remove the dizzy cap to double check everything - and as I am turning the crank to TDC I hear a "PSSSSSST" on each cylinder as each goes up to TDC. My initial reaction was that each valve is not seating all the way (im sure its not exhaust side cause it seems more internal). I am not convinced that my initial reaction is the proper one but I posted some pics of my timing indicators - just know the little nipple on the crank pullys is dead on and I couldn't get a good pic of it. I wanted to confirm that what I have here and what you see is the proper setup. BTW its an H22A4
