Need help, guys. Exhaust resonator question.
I had a custom 2.25" piping with a Remus exhaust on my 5th gen. At some point I had removed the resonator. Now I switched to the Flowmaster Prelude system but its hella raspy. So I want to install a Magnaflow resonator to quiet it down a bit and take away all the raspiness. I have heard that exhaust on youtube and it had no rasp. My question to you is, how big in diameter can I get the resonator without it being an issue. They have it in 4", 6" and 7". I know that the bigger the resonator, the more it'll help with muffling the loudness and the rasp. Anyone run into this issue? Please help. Thanks in advance.
