LOL..Preludes and pretty much all cars have parking lights, low beams, AND high beams. When you turn the knob once you're turning on the parking lights, which is the small little orange bulb. When you turn the knob to the second position the low beams come on and the bulb at the top of the reflector bowl is lit up. The high beams are only turned on when you pull the lever towards you when your knob is in the second position. The high beam is the bulb directly below the reflector bowl and your cluster indicates that the high beams are on with a blue light.

WTF, the blue light comes on when i turn the knob twice. In the refector bowl would be the oem bulbs and the ones below the bowl would be the hid's? my low beams are bypassed somehow.lol

try pulling the level toward you while your lowbeams are on, your highbeams may be turned on already

LOL, no......if the blue light is already on when you turn twice that means ALL your lights are on, meaning parking, low, AND high beams. if you pull the lever towards you until it clicks the high beams will turn off and the bulb below the reflector bowl will shut off. to my knowledge, HID bulbs should be replacing your normal low beams, so they should be in the reflector bowl at the top where the normal low beams should be..they're probably so bright that they make your high beams obsolete. and if the highs are on ALL the time with your HIDs..talk about blinding people...

p.s. yes, something so basic like using the lights you should REALLY know about before you even start boosting

Yeah like Solid says there really is a lot of idiocy on PP.com, even though it is funny sometimes. PO is usually for more of a mature crowd..I learned a lot from being on PO and this is actually where I started off

LOL, high beams have nothing to do with boosting buddy. Sorry i never had time to research how the headlights are wired or where the filler bolt is on an accord tranny, I had more important stuff to research.

To be honest I've been blinded by cars with projectors countless times. Sometimes I'd be driving and behind me I'd get assraped with glare thinking it's a PnP but then later finding out it was a bmw or some luxury car. :$

Quick question for anyone who may know. Is it necessary to alter in anyway the eagle eyes projector lights for the bulb of a HID to fit?

You don't want to use HIDs in a halogen projector.

Have you seen some of the glare shots over at HIDplanet ? They are just designed too differently.

Thanks, I'll stick with the H3 bulbs. I'll save time and $ doing something for not.
