N1 Install

Can any of you give me a good sugestion on how to jack up the car to get the best acess to the system ? I am doing the install today in about 2hrs after work, I am doing it @ home.I was thinking just use a pressure jack, up from the back and then mount the wheels.Either that or 80 bux on Thursday, but I would prefer not to wait that long.It has been a long 7weeks waiting for this.

Thanks,
Jay

Get some jack stands. Jack up the passangers side of your car as high as you can putthe jack stands in. Let exhaust cool. duh. Go to work. If you don't have jack stands they are only like 20 bucks at a hardware store of auto parts stocks they are a good investment.

What do you mean.........? Do you get a better angle from the side ? I am leaving in about 10mins to do this so that's why I ask ? I will probably jack from the back side. : /

don't do that, there's not much you need to unbolt in the back, the majority of it is in the front (the cat, hangers, pipes...), i mean sure, eventually you'll need to undo stuff in the back, but i think its easier to do it fron the front.

It makes it easier to get to the bolts on the cat. plus it get the front off the ground a bit as well as the back on the passangers side. which is where the canister hangs.

first jack up the rear and place jackstands and then jack up the front and place jackstands

we used a tall jack though and the car got really high off the ground
